Merguez Restaurant: A Hidden Gem on Orlando’s International Drive

Finding authentic Moroccan cuisine in Orlando might seem like searching for an oasis in the desert, but Merguez Restaurant delivers exactly that magic. As we stepped through the doors, the aromatic blend of cumin, saffron, and mint transported us straight to the bustling souks of Marrakech.

On our culinary adventure, I ordered The Mixed Platter which was a feast for both eyes and palate – a stunning arrangement of grilled meats perfectly seasoned with traditional North African spices. Doris ordered The Gyro platter, a symphony of tender, aromatic meat wrapped in warm pita, proved why this dish has earned countless loyal followers. But it was the shared Falafel that stole the show – crispy on the outside, yet impossibly light and herb-flecked within.

Must-Try Specialties:

  • House-made Tagines
  • Yero Bowls
  • Vegetarian-friendly options
  • Chicken Shawarma Wrap
  • Mint tea

Whether you’re a seasoned foodie or simply craving an exotic escape from Orlando’s theme park scene, Merguez Restaurant offers an unforgettable journey through Moroccan flavors. Trust us – this hidden gem on International Drive is worth discovering.
