The Raw Vegan Homboy and his wife Rouse invited Doris and me to this spot, and I’m still buzzing from it. Earlier in the week, Vegan Homboy shared a bite of their Fried Rice, and I was hooked—those flavors were on point! This place is small and fills up quickly. We got there just after 5 PM on a Saturday to an empty dining room, but by 6:30, it was packed! Don’t miss out on this one, or you’ll be left out of the foodie loop.
We kicked things off with the Spicy Garlic Edamame, and let me tell you, it was delicious—perfectly zesty and packed with flavor. Rouse called it one of the best she’s ever had, and we weren’t arguing. For my main, I opted for the Sweet Sausage Fried Rice, which is classically prepared and one of the best I’ve had in forever. Doris enjoyed the Papaya Salad with Shrimp and cleaned her plate like a champ. We both tried bites of Vegan Homeboy and Rouse’s Tofu Pad Thai and Red Curry Tofu, plus a fresh Veggie Roll that was pure bliss.
This little spot packs a punch and easily ranks among the top Thai joints in the area. When there, take a look at the variety of choices of authentic drinks that they offer for your enjoyment. They’ve got a killer catering menu for parties big and small. Imagine bringing these vibes to your next bash. Doris and I are already planning our next visit to dive deeper into their menu and try different drinks. You definitely need to get in on this!
