We visited Sirocco on Easter Sunday with no intention of doing a review but after the explosion of flavor that we experienced, we felt that we could only do the place justice with a review. The layout and design of the restaurant are also very carefully thought out, elegant, yet casual at the same time, and very comfortable. It’s not tightly packed so I wasn’t really even aware of the other dinner guests in the area but was easily able to focus on the families that were at our table. This is exactly what I want in a restaurant.
At first, I was skeptical and didn’t know what to expect, but once I took one bite, I was hooked. Everything was truly authentic. For starters, we ordered several appetizers for the table Grape Leaves, Pan Seared Octopus, Makanek, and Makali. All of the 5 options were delicious! I especially enjoyed the Makali all of the vegetables were perfectly seasoned and roasted. I also ordered an Old Fashioned that was very good and a good pour.
Our waiter did a good job with the size table that we were. Around the table, we ordered a little bit of everything when it came to the entrees. The Lentil soup in a word “DELICIOUS”. I had the Grilled Shrimp that came with the Mediterranean Rice and a Saffron Dipping Sauce that was really on point. Doris had the Quinoa Salad topped with a nice serving of Grilled Shrimp. All of the food around the table was really good!
