I have been to the Front Porch Café on many occasions and will say that they have some of the better waitstaff on South Beach. To start off you should try the Shrimp & Corn Fritters or the Coconut Shrimp appetizers both come with delicious dipping sauces. For the entrée I highly recommend the meatloaf, yes I said MEATLOAF.  From what I hear the restaurant owner still comes into the kitchen to prepare his family’s secret meatloaf recipe.  My second entrée recommendation would be the Shrimp Scampi that comes over perfectly cooked to order linguini in a succulent white wine sauce. Their specialty drinks are another South Beach must as they are a good pour. All entrees are full good sized portions at really reasonable prices for being on South Beach.  Take time to check out the fun in the breezeway.

Tips & Notes:

·       They almost always have a $50 Groupon available.

·       Happy Hour at the breezeway from 4-7 pm, featuring 1/2 price drink specials and reduced prices on a variety of appetizers.

·       They serve breakfast all day long for your late raisers.

·       They have multiple large dining areas inside and out which means that seating is usually very quick at this busy location.

·       Parking is at a premium in South Beach. Use the Public garage on 13th Street.

·       The front porch dining area is a perfect location to take in some fresh Florida air and people watch.
