This is a great little Patio Bar and Grill located on the Intracoastal Waterway just behind The Sands Harbor Resort and Marina. We found this little hideaway about a year ago while on a day trip to the Hillsboro Lighthouse. While waiting for our launch we decide to explore the property and were pleasantly surprised by the food and drink at the bar. We immediately made a decision to come back and do a full review of the location. We arrived and were promptly seated dockside near the pool area. We ordered our drinks from the specialty drink menu and our server, Rachel, recommended the floater on top so I took her expert advice and was not let down. I had a Miami Vice which is a 50-50 mix of a Rum Runner & Pina Colada with the Rum Floater. I seriously recommend this drink as it is a perfect balance of tropical flavors. On our most recent trip, our server Nick suggested the ribs appetizer which was a new addition to their menu and we were most pleased. For entrees, we ordered the Blackened Grouper and the Atlantic Cod Fish and Chips. Both were marvelously prepared and presented hot and delicious. My Cod (4 large pieces) was fried to a golden brown and was light, flakey, and moist. The flakey Grouper was Blackened and served with sweet potato fries drizzled in honey and coleslaw all of which were absolutely delicious. We also highly recommend the Shrimp and Grits. They had a live band which sounded really good. We enjoyed the laid-back vibe and Intercoastal Waterway view from our table. Rachel was very helpful, attentive, and welcoming, she even photo bombed us.LOL. Honorable mention and shout out to Maria, a new server who went above and beyond and was truly appreciated, good job!
