This sidewalk café is perfect for people watching. The bar and restaurant inside are warm and inviting, casual yet classy. The very diverse menu has a little something for everyone.
For starters a few of our favorite appetizers would be the P.E.I. Mussel Bowlwith Spanish Chorizo and Saffron Broth, Meatball and Sausage Broccoli Rabe and Long Hot Peppers, Jumping Shrimp in Sweet Chili Sauce, Cucumbers, Bell Peppers, Scallions all served in a Sizzling Hot Platter. Honorable mention goes to the Fried Calamari Tender Rings with Marinara and Sweet Thai Chili Sauce that is always on point. For entrees I would recommend first and foremost the Shrimp and Grits followed by Plantain Crusted Grouper in a Vanilla Rum Glaze, served with Sweet Mashed Potatoes and Broccoli. 101 Lasagna Classic Bolognese made with Marinara, Ricotta Cheese, Fresh Shredded Mozzarella, Grilled Chicken Caprese or the Tarragon Shrimp Salad, just to name a few.
They also have a really extensive craft beer and hand crafted drink menu. Some of our favorites are the Moscow Mule and the Florida Sunrise. The crowd around the bar is very upbeat, lively and usually engaged in whatever sporting event that is being broadcast on the many TV’s over the bar. The people seated at the tables outside are treated to plenty of people watching and a good amount of fresh salt air being that they are just about 50 yards from the ocean. The seating area inside is one of the only dining rooms in the area that a group can conduct a conversation without yelling. We have been there many times with friends and family and continue to recommend it. I promise you will have a memorable experience. The desserts menu always has fresh choices such as the Vanilla Bean Crème Brulee, or perhaps even the Bourbon Chocolate Pretzel Pecan Pie, if you have room.
On the late night menu you can build your own pizza or choose from the many Flatbread combinations or peel and eat shrimp at very reasonable prices. The staff is friendly, accommodating and yet very professional.
