When the search for dining inside the Hard Rock resort leaves you overwhelmed, trust the convenience: Cipresso is an unequivocal “must-visit” when you are already on the property at the Seminole Hard Rock. The ambiance is nice but feels a little cold due to the vast openness and drab grey coloring. This is where adequate service meets expected resort pricing.

The atmosphere is one of functional, modern dining. While the space has a very nice open kitchen and good spacing on the tables, the overall vibe is a bit reserved. The service was fair but seemed to lose interest in our table after a while, which detracted from the experience. While not overwhelming, the atmosphere serves its purpose for a captive resort audience.

The flavors were generally good. The Bolognese was highly enjoyable; the pasta was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was seasoned perfectly. However, the main disappointment was the value for money, as the portion sizes were average and the presentation was nothing special—more like “eh” than the “WOW factor” expected for the price. The Short rib pasta (basically short rib stuffed agnolotti) was enjoyed but arrived with a slight delay, underscoring the feeling of being at the resort’s mercy.

Cipresso offers a resort dining experience that is fine for convenience but may not meet high culinary expectations. The food was good, but the overall value and lack of a distinct “WOW factor” left the impression of wanting more for the price point.

The ultimate FOMO moment comes from realizing that once you’re inside the resort, you are somewhat limited in choices. Be aware that the restrooms are outside of the restaurant, and it is a very long walk from the parking garage.

This restaurant’s high pricing is typical for its location within the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Make reservations if desired, but temper your expectations regarding portion size and presentation.
