About a month or so ago Dvash came up on our radar as a place that we should visit. I completed my research and put it into our rotation of places to visit after the Holidays. That was until I received a call from my Chiropractor, Dr. Season Schelin, who told me that the food and service were amazing and that this was a “Hot Spot”. So we bumped it up on the list, as Dr. Schelin is always on point with his recommendations.
Looking for a new culinary gem in Hollywood, Florida? We recently discovered Dvash, and it’s a must-visit for anyone craving exceptional Mediterranean fusion cuisine. From the moment we stepped inside, we knew we were in for a treat.
We were promptly seated at our 5 PM reservation and quickly greeted by our server, Lauren. The restaurant’s bar looked inviting, with patrons enjoying pre-dinner cocktails and appetizers. We started our evening with an Old Fashioned Mule and a Tall, both perfectly crafted and presented.
A Culinary Masterpiece: From Appetizers to Entrées
For our starter, we ordered the Shrimp Cargot—a dish so incredible that I could have eaten it as a main course. The shrimp were perfectly cooked in a rich shallot viognier cream sauce, topped with Swiss cheese and served with garlic Ciabatta bread. We used every last piece of bread to soak up the delicious, out-of-this-world sauce.
For our main courses, Doris chose the Chef’s Burger, a colossal blend of short rib and brisket on a brioche bun, topped with caramelized onions and gooey, melted brie cheese. My mouth was watering just looking at it!
I opted for the Chicken Jerusalem Mix, a sensational medley of sautéed chicken and onions with Mediterranean spices, served over fluffy jasmine rice. The dish was an explosion of flavor, with every bite better than the last. The chicken was incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned, and the rice was cooked just right. I literally cleaned my plate—not a single morsel was left behind.
More Than Just Great Food
The ambience at Dvash is just as impressive as the food. The restaurant quickly filled up, a clear sign of its popularity and fantastic reputation. The lively atmosphere and beautiful décor complement the incredible menu.
We were truly amazed by the value and the quality of our entire meal. Every dish was a masterpiece of both sight and flavor. Dvash is a true culinary hotspot, and we can’t wait to return to explore more of their small but mighty menu.
