I have wanted to try this place for the past few years and have finally done it. First of all, I was not aware that there were 2 locations in the Keys, so when I found out that there was one on Stock Island I figured that it would be nice to have dinner before going onto Key West.
I had the Ropa Vieja and it was right on point we also had the Masas de Puerco Frito another hit both were accompanied with Yellow rice, black beans, and fried bananas. I am not a fan of yellow rice but the black beans were very good and made the rice a moot point. The meals are of very good quality and portion sizes incredible. When driving down through the Keys it would be a good idea to stop in for an early dinner, you will not be disappointed.
