We recently hosted West Coast friends keen on exploring Miami through a captivating Sightseeing Tour featuring both a Double-decker Bus and Boat Tour. This comprehensive experience takes you across various Miami hotspots, including a stop at Bayside Marketplace, where we discovered the delightful La Canita on the second floor, evoking an authentic ‘Old Havana feeling’.
Seated by Kendall, our attentive server, we savored their signature Cuban Sandwich, a succulent blend of Lechon Asado, Ham & Swiss Cheese, Yellow Mustard & Cuban bread. The generous portion sizes prompted us to share one sandwich between us, complemented by sides of Congri and Tostones. Our table also indulged in the tantalizing Fried Chicken Sandwich, Spice Rubbed Grilled Spare Ribs with Guava BBQ Sauce and French Fries, and the Ropa Vieja Sandwich featuring Melted Mozzarella and Mustard Aioli.
Every dish at La Canita was a treat for the senses – enticing visuals, delightful aromas, and mouthwatering flavors. I dare say, their Cuban Sandwich ranks among the finest in Miami.
