When the search for a lively, reliable mid-week dinner leaves you overwhelmed, trust the local institution: Rosie’s Bar & Grill is the unequivocal “must-visit.” Returning after a long time, we confirmed that the food is always good and the service is consistently good and friendly.
The atmosphere is one of vibrant, outdoor celebration. We were seated in the tropically decorated and landscaped patio area, which is equipped for all seasons and weather. The restaurant offers plenty of space inside as well as outside. This is a good place to people watch and enjoy the local scene. Of special note, during the Halloween season, this place goes all out on scene decorations!
The flavors are extraordinary. Burgers are the main theme on the menu, but everything I’ve ever ordered here has also been excellent. You absolutely must try the Big Chicken Nachos—the portion and presentation were right on point and enough for 4 of us as a starter. For an entree, I had my usual, the Miley Highclub, which was cooked to a perfect medium-well (this burger truly rocks!).
For appetizers, if you’re undecided, the War of the Rosies is a great choice for starters and is enough for 2 to 3 people. The Coconut Shrimp are large and plentiful. Doris had the French Onion Soup, which was a good size, gooey with yummy cheese and onions.
Rosie’s Bar & Grill offers dining experiences that few other local spots dare to attempt, specializing in generous portions and a fun, welcoming vibe. The drinks are on point, not overpowering but a good pour. The service from our server, Christian, was excellent, and the Daily Specials and Happy Hour are worth checking out.
The ultimate FOMO moment comes from realizing the desserts are shareable perfection. We shared the Pecan Pie Bread Pudding with ice cream and caramel syrup, and it was totally enough for 4!
This restaurant’s high local demand means you should plan ahead. This place does get packed, and there usually is a very small wait. Be sure to check out the Sunday Brunch for another great experience.
