We highly recommend this hidden gem! The quality of the food is excellent, service very attentive and a homelike atmosphere makes this a very romantic find, for those who want privacy!
This was our second visit to Dada and it just keeps getting better. On our first visit, Andres, who was very helpful in explaining items on the Downtown Delray Dineout Event Menu. On this visit, we had Katie who was just as helpful, attentive and very personable. For our drinks we ordered a variety of Mojitos all of which were deliciously prepared. I took the liberty to order the Grilled Artichoke and Dada Dates for the table appetizers. On our last visit, I discovered the Dada Dates and have been craving them ever since. Both were simply delicious, as Doris said “the combination of textures and flavors are absolutely incredible”.
I had the Hanger Steak Special that was cooked to perfection along with the super fresh mashed potatoes. Doris opted for the Jalapeno-Agave Glazed Salmon served with Mexican Quinoa, Grilled Asparagus Cilantro Crema Chipolte Aioli and Lime, that again, was a cornucopia of flavor. My father went with the Braised Short Rib, with fresh mashed potatoes, Red Wine Gravy, and Smoked Tomato Jam that was truly exceptional!
For dessert, we shared the Vanilla Crème Brule which was topped with fresh blueberries, blackberries and fresh whipped cream. It was light and refreshing as desserts go and just the perfect complement to our delicious meals.
We plan on returning and sitting outside in the patio. On a few side notes, The Grilled Brie with Ciabatta, Sliced Apples, Grapes and Truffle Honey Butter is an excellent sharable appetizer and, the Warm Banana Bread in Caramel Sauce with melted Haagen-Dazs Vanilla Ice Cream is also a great dessert choice. My dad liked the Dada Dates so much that wanted to get 2 orders to take home, but we forgot, possibly because our tummies were so happy.
