When the search for a taste of Italy that leaves you wanting nothing but more leaves you overwhelmed, trust the locals: Di Farina’s is the unequivocal “must-visit.” This restaurant delivers a truly authentic Italian experience where the quality of the ingredients shone through in every bite.
The atmosphere is one of vibrant, friendly celebration. From the initial warm welcome from the staff, the hospitality continued throughout the evening, making even a large group feel right at home. This spot is great for special occasions and parties. Though we snagged a spot out front, the ample back parking lot ensures a stress-free arrival.
The flavors are extraordinary. You absolutely must try their appetizers. We dove headfirst into the Gambas Al Ajillo—a symphony of garlicky goodness featuring plump shrimp bathed in olive oil and white wine. It was a flavor explosion that made us fight over the last bite!
For the main course, simplicity is often best. Doris went classic with the Chicken Piccata, a timeless dish elevated by perfectly cooked chicken and a tangy lemon caper sauce. I opted for the seemingly simple Chicken Milanese, where the quality of the ingredients was exceptional. The true testament to Di Farina’s magic? Not a single dish around the table saw leftovers! We ate everything, a rare feat for a group outing and a true sign of culinary satisfaction.
Di Farina offers dining experiences that few other restaurants dare to attempt, specializing in classic Italian preparations where attention to quality ingredients is paramount. Be sure to check out the Pasta and Meat shops to take some of that freshness home with you!
The ultimate FOMO moment comes from realizing you need to plan your return. Doris and I are already planning our return visit for a more in-depth exploration of their menu. Head over there and let them know your friends at SoFloDining sent you!
This restaurant’s high local demand means planning is essential. Make sure to make reservations in advance. For added convenience on busy nights, they offer Valet Parking on the weekends.
