For discerning palates seeking a bright, world-class fusion experience, Embarcadero 41 in Coral Springs emerges as a true gem. Tucked away in University Place off North University Drive, this restaurant is the epitome of a great find—a beautifully lit, immaculately clean establishment offering a vibrant slice of Peruvian Fusion. This isn’t just a meal; it’s an artistic and flavorful expedition led by owner Juan “JC” Fernandez-Stoll and Chef Mirko Cussianovich.
The initial impression upon entering is the sheer brightness and immaculate cleanliness of the space. We were quickly seated, and our server, Daniela, introduced us to the extensive menu. Demonstrating exceptional, proactive service, she brought samples of the fresh fruit drinks to help us choose. The beverages were spectacular: Doris chose the Maracuya (passion fruit) juice, while I opted for the traditional Peruvian Chicha, made from purple corn, fruit, and spices.
The entrées and appetizers arrived as a series of beautiful artistic creations, accompanied by a cornucopia of aromas. We started with the savory Pulpo Anticuchero (octopus marinated in traditional panca chili sauce). For the rolls, we indulged in the Maki Parrillero Roll (panko-breaded shrimp, avocado, grilled octopus, torched with cream cheese and eel sauce) and the Lucky Maki Roll (stuffed with plantain, avocado, panko shrimp, and sweet cream cheese). Every bite was delicious and impeccably balanced.
What truly sets Embarcadero 41 apart is the attention to service detail. Daniela was impeccable, and the perfect service is shared, with every server looking after the other tables, contributing to a flawless dining flow.
The meal culminated in the dessert, the Mousse de Maracuta (Passionfruit Mousse). This decadent, must-try dessert was one of the best we’ve had in a very long time—so good that Doris commented she’d stop by just to get one “to go.”
For those who appreciate world-class Peruvian fusion, stunning presentation, and a level of hospitality that is truly perfect, Embarcadero 41 is an absolute must-visit. Prepare to be captivated by the flavors and the service, and undoubtedly, to return.
The ultimate FOMO moment comes from driving past this hidden gem and missing out on the exquisite, unique flavors of the Peruvian Fusion cuisine and the unforgettable, must-try Passionfruit Mousse, which defines the artistry of Embarcadero 41.
