I found this place completely by accident shortly after I had to make an off day visit to work and Doris suggested that we try something close as we have been focusing on getting more reviews in Palm Beach County. Doris realized that she had already been there in the past and raved about the quality of the food, therefore, we decided to give them a try.
From the minute we stepped out of the car I could literally smell the delicious aroma wafting in the area of the shopping center where Nino’s is located. It’s a cute Italian family owned business since 1983 right inside of the Del Mar Shopping Village at N.W. corner of Powerline & Palmetto Park Road. We walked in and a server greeted us and seated us all while taking an order over the phone. That’s professionalism at its finest.
Our server Derek promptly took our drink orders. After reviewing the extensive original menu, I must say that there is something to suit everyone’s taste. Doris ordered the Homemade Lasagna with meat sauce & ricotta cheese, topped with tomato sauce and I had the Chicken Genovese, which is a Breast of chicken sautéed in a white wine sauce, topped with roasted peppers, fresh spinach, and mozzarella cheese. We also added a side of Meatballs and a side of Sausage to have a better sampling of the fare.
The meals come with a choice of soup or salad and garlic rolls. We both had the minestrone soup that I can only describe as authentic homemade and delicious. As the food arrived, we started to indulge in the deliciousness that was presented to us. There were a few minutes of silence which could only mean we were in love with each and every bite. Derek brought our silence to our attention jokingly before asking if we needed anything. We smiled and kept chewing, LOL. The Lasagna was loaded with meat and cooked perfectly and my Chicken Genovese can only be described as a flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth surprise in every bite.
You will definitely feel welcomed here and fall in love with their delicious offerings. We’ll be back for pizza and dessert soon and often and we will bring family, friends and framily.
