When the search for a perfect lunch spot leaves you overwhelmed, trust the classics: Pepe’s Key West is the unequivocal “must-visit.” The moment you arrive, you are impressed by the amazingly appropriate atmosphere—cozy, clean, and relaxed. This is where service is thought out and on point, meeting high-quality comfort food abundance.

The atmosphere is one of vibrant, casual celebration. They are just far enough from the hustle and bustle, allowing you to unwind. The dining room is very quaint, and the outdoor Bar and dining area are a perfect location to take in some fresh Florida air. Every detail is designed for comfort, making it a great place to stop and relax.

The flavors are extraordinary. The lunch menu is small but it has everything that you need. You must start with the Tomato and Bleu Cheese soup of the day, which was simply incredible! For the main course, you must not miss the sandwiches. My Patty Melt was awesome and had me licking my fingers, no kidding. Likewise, the Grilled Cheese with Bacon is another finger-licking delight.

Pepe’s Key West offers dining experiences that few other restaurants dare to attempt, including an excellent daily Happy Hour. You must prioritize the Happy Hour, every day from 4 pm to 6 pm, which features ½ priced oysters (baked or raw), $6 fresh squeezed margaritas, and much more. Be sure to check out the nice small gift shop on the premises on your way out.

The ultimate FOMO moment comes from realizing this spot’s potential for dinner. This was our first time, but we’ll be coming back for dinner, no doubt. The combination of excellent food and a laid-back vibe makes it a standout destination.

This restaurant’s high local demand means it can get busy, so plan accordingly. You’ll find plenty of parking across the street in the large public parking lot, making access easy.
