The atmosphere is one of vibrant, refined celebration. This is a classic spot that provides a wonderful dining environment. Our server for the evening, Hector, was very attentive and made us feel very welcome. Adding to the atmosphere, they also have a live piano player in the lounge.

The flavors are extraordinary. You absolutely must take advantage of the specials. The Happy Hour is a great value, featuring Bar Bite specials as well as drink specials from 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm, Sunday through Friday. The appetizers are a nice size portion, and I strongly recommend the Fruti de Mar.

For our main courses, all of the dishes were beautifully plated and offered plentiful portion sizes. Our table ordered the 16oz. Ribeye Steak, Shrimp Scampi, and Shrimp Fra Diavolo. I personally ordered the Shrimp Fra Diavolo and must say that it was perfectly prepared as it had just enough bite and was not over seasoned. Chef Jose Diaz simply outdoes himself every time we visit.

Bistro Mezzaluna offers dining experiences that few other local spots dare to attempt, specializing in generous portions of classic Italian fare and outstanding desserts. I cannot say enough about the desserts—we ordered the Bistro’s Crumb Apple Pie and the Tiramisu—other than if I could lick the plate I would have. We will definitely come back and bring others.
