Alright, foodies! Buckle up, because SoFloDining just stumbled upon a piece of pure Italian opulence, thanks to a local expert recommendation. When Christine Ferris of South Florida’s Best Food Tours raves about a spot, you know it’s gold. We’re talking about Miraggio Italian Grill in Pompano Beach (3100 B E Atlantic Blvd), and trust us, it’s more than just a restaurant – it’s a captivating culinary escape!
The moment the doors open, you step into pure opulence, with a running video overhead showcasing the vibrant beauty of the Italian Coast. We were warmly greeted by our host and waiter, Angelo, who advised us of the irresistible Happy Hour (appetizers and drinks are 50% off at the time of review). While the outdoor Intracoastal seating was tempting, we chose indoors for a perfect view of the immaculate open kitchen. Doris started off with a delicious, classically prepared Aperol Spritz. For our appetizer, we went with the Carpaccio, featuring thinly sliced tenderloin, arugula, and shaved parmesan. This has to be one of the best carpaccios that I have had in a very long time.
For our entrée, Doris chose the Grilled Faroe Islands Salmon, served with spinach and steamed broccoli. Known for its rich, buttery, and clean taste from the cold waters between Iceland and Norway, it was her first time having it, and definitely not her last. I asked Angelo to bring me a chicken dish, and he selected the Chicken Marsala, prepared with three pieces of chicken breast, mushrooms, and Marsala wine. Served with crispy Brussels Sprouts, the dish was perfectly balanced. We ended the meal with the house-made Tiramisu, which was another masterpiece. The service, food quality, and view make this spot truly special.
SoFloDining officially declares Miraggio Italian Grill a MUST-VISIT destination! Get ready to have your senses wowed. We predict it is destined to be the hottest reservation in town by the time the snowbirds land.
The ultimate FOMO moment comes from delaying your visit and missing out on the best Carpaccio you’ve had in years and the rich, buttery Faroe Islands Salmon, all while enjoying the immaculate ambiance and Intracoastal view.
